Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement intricate Salesforce solutions for critical public sector and Department of Defense environments.

• Lead the technical design process and create scalable Apex and Lightning-based solutions.

• Execute Experience Cloud design, development, and implementation.

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, development teams, developers, administrators, and quality assurance testers.

• Gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions and technical user stories.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Utilize Flow for complex requirements and connect to code as needed.

• Create Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.

• Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and platforms.

• Mitigate technical debt through coding and configuration best practices.

• Configure Salesforce to address defects, user issues, and performance challenges.

• Resolve data migration and interface challenges.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications.

• Remain informed about Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.

• Offer recommendations for improving development processes and applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• A Secret security clearance or higher is required.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least twelve (12) years of general work experience.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing Lightning Web Components.

• Comprehensive full-stack engineering experience, with proficient database development/integration skills.

• Three (3) years of experience in deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.

• Strong expertise in the Salesforce platform and its applications.

• Proficiency in the Apex programming language and declarative tools such as Flow and OmniStudio.

• Experience in developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns along with REST and SOAP APIs.

• Experience with development projects utilizing DevOps, Salesforce configuration, and/or Apex programming.

• Preferred experience in the public sector or multiple Salesforce project implementations.

• Salesforce certifications are preferred.

• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
