Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform business needs into well-designed Salesforce solutions in collaboration with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts.

• Create, test, document, and sustain Salesforce solutions, integrations, and data migration components.

• Utilize Salesforce declarative and programmatic tools, including triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.

• Implement test plans using test code and unit tests to guarantee quality delivery.

• Adhere to coding standards and engage in code review processes.

• Ensure proper design patterns are applied during project execution.

• Provide support to government clients and contribute to the development of Capgemini Government Solutions' capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a non-Computer Science bachelor's degree with equivalent training from completed Boot Camps.

• A bachelor's degree may be replaced with four years of relevant experience.

• 2–3 years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, REST, APIs, SOQL, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

• Eagerness to learn and assist with Salesforce development and implementation throughout the complete Software Development Lifecycle using Agile methodologies.

• Willingness to learn, work, and collaborate with product owners, clients, business analysts, Solution Architects, Release Managers, and other stakeholders.

• Experience with Salesforce Communities is a plus.

• Salesforce consulting cloud certifications are desirable.

• Certifications in Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Administrator, and Platform App Builder are advantageous.

• Experience in collaborative delivery environments, particularly Agile Scrum teams, is beneficial.

• Familiarity with creating and managing sandbox and production environments is a plus.

• Proficiency in Salesforce SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs is preferred.

• Expertise in writing test classes and developing triggers, batch classes, and future methods is desirable.

• Experience in developing enterprise software using Salesforce Lightning Web Components is a plus.

• Adherence to Salesforce best practices is advantageous.

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Java is beneficial.

• Experience in developing flows and automation within Salesforce is a plus.

• Candidates for employment in the U.S. must possess valid work authorization that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.
