Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions that support the FDEM DEMES platform.

• Create and maintain Salesforce automation using Flow, validation rules, approval processes, and other native platform features.

• Configure and improve Salesforce objects, fields, Lightning record pages, permission sets, custom permissions, and security measures.

• Develop and maintain solutions that facilitate grants management, financial processes, procurement, and emergency management workflows.

• Provide support for Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and associated platform functionalities.

• Develop and manage Salesforce integrations, data exchanges, and cross-system workflows.

• Utilize SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data modeling techniques for application functionality, reporting, and data management.

• Assist in deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments using Salesforce deployment and release management tools.

• Troubleshoot and rectify application defects, configuration problems, integration challenges, and production support requests.

• Engage in requirements gathering and convert stakeholder and business needs into Salesforce solutions.

• Support UAT, resolve defects, validate releases, and oversee production deployments.

• Identify opportunities to modernize configurations, minimize technical debt, and enhance platform maintainability and scalability.

• Develop and maintain solution design, configuration, deployment, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect, project leaders, technical team members, and business stakeholders.

• May assume lead responsibilities within projects or small teams.

• Work may require evenings and weekends, client-site deployments, and up to 25% travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in implementing, configuring, developing, or supporting Salesforce solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; equivalent relevant professional experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and automation, including Flow, Lightning App Builder, validation rules, approval processes, data modeling, and security/permissions.

• 3-5 years of experience with SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, or similar Salesforce development and deployment tools.

• 3-5 years of experience in supporting Salesforce solution development, testing, UAT, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

• 3-5 years of experience in translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations or technical solutions.

• Salesforce Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or a comparable Salesforce certification.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Eligibility to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa is required.

• Must successfully pass company and any applicable client background checks and reference checks upon receiving an employment offer.
