Salesforce Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Contribute to initiatives focused on data profiling within core RevOps and go-to-market systems to assess data quality, consistency, and completeness.

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable data workflows that encompass Salesforce, Siebel CRM, Oracle ERP, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud data sources.

• Engineer, support, and refine data pipelines and automated transformation processes utilizing SQL and big data technologies.

• Create and implement database scripts, triggers, functions, and stored procedures.

• Establish automated testing and validation procedures for managing data quality and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data needs and their impact on analytics and reporting.

• Work alongside technical teams, operations, product managers, and business stakeholders to execute data initiatives.

• Identify and relay opportunities for automating processes to enhance data quality.

• Advocate for engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline is required.

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data integration, or the development of backend data platforms.

• Proven experience in supporting enterprise-scale data ecosystems.

• Proficient in designing, constructing, and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines across CRM, ERP, and cloud data platforms.

• Familiarity with implementing data quality and validation frameworks.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Extensive, practical experience with Salesforce, Siebel CRM, and Oracle ERP.

• Knowledge of Demandbase, SalesLoft, and HubSpot.

• Expertise in SQL, Python, Hadoop, and Spark.

• Experience using BI/analytics tools, particularly Power BI.

• Familiarity with AI-driven database optimization tools.

• Experience in preparing datasets for machine learning and AI applications.

• Proficient with Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, and Inspector.

• A strong record of applying best practices in data engineering.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
