This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and oversee the Salesforce organization configuration, encompassing objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and permission sets.
• Create and enhance automation through Flows while managing legacy Process Builder and Workflow rules.
• Configure Salesforce utilizing declarative tools such as Flow, approvals, validation rules, page layouts, and the Lightning App Builder.
• Ensure that declarative automation is scalable, maintainable, governed, auditable, and compliant.
• Deliver oral and written presentations to government managers.
• Generate executive-ready summaries and materials to support decision-making.
• Oversee the Salesforce security framework, which includes profiles, roles, sharing rules, and permission set groups.
• Build and set up OmniStudio components, such as FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
• Craft guided user experiences and data-driven interfaces utilizing OmniStudio.
• Enhance Integration Procedures and DataRaptors for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with OmniStudio components across various environments.
• Develop and sustain Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes.
• Create Lightning Web Components and integrate them with OmniStudio.
• Write and consume REST/SOAP integrations and external system callouts.
• Author Apex unit tests that meet code coverage and quality benchmarks.
• Engage in the complete SDLC: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize Git and CI/CD tools, including SFDX, Gearset, and Copado for deployments.
• Convert business requirements into scalable declarative or programmatic solutions.
• Document technical designs, data flows, configuration decisions, business rules, and processes.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is needed.
• Practical experience with both point-and-click configurations and Apex/LWC development is essential.
• Proven implementation experience with OmniStudio is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• Eight (8) years of professional experience in a related area may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
• Demonstrated capability in leading requirements within an Agile delivery framework, including story mapping, user story creation, and acceptance criteria formulation.
• Established ability to convert complex business processes into clear requirements and actionable user stories.
• Experience in documenting business rules and processes through workflow diagrams and structured artifacts (e.g., CONOPS).
• Hands-on proficiency with declarative configuration and automation, particularly Salesforce Flow.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to brief senior government stakeholders effectively.
• OmniStudio Developer/Consultant certification is an advantageous addition.
