This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and sustain a strategic sales plan to enhance business opportunities and meet or surpass sales objectives in the Education, Hospitality, Government, and commercial sectors.
• Strategize territory coverage and efficiently manage time, including targeted call distribution and appointment scheduling.
• Engage in daily prospecting to discover new leads and direct them to the relevant inside divisional or national account colleagues.
• Establish and nurture relationships with architects, designers, consultants, end-users, and other influential decision-makers.
• Keep track of top accounts and project listings through the Multi-Divisional Project Tracker and participate in Key Account Management initiatives.
• Offer technical support, product suggestions, specifications, and industry knowledge across Inpro product lines.
• Evaluate domestic and international competition, project dynamics, territory specifics, and the strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
• Utilize Sales Support, Estimating, Quality Assurance, Finance, and other internal resources effectively.
• Maintain precise account records, sales data systems, customer notes, estimating portals, Salesforce, SCORE reports, and construction reporting services.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, leads, and opportunities; coordinate projects to enhance closing ratios.
• Perform field measurements and ensure accurate quotes in collaboration with inside divisional representatives.
• Educate clients through in-person meetings, virtual meetings via TEAMS or ZOOM, and conduct at least 36 Box Lunch presentations each year, including 4 AIA presentations.
• Achieve or surpass target contribution margin levels while minimizing Returns and Allowances.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and regional and local Inpro staff.
• Promote and cross-sell Inpro products, services, and new product launches.
• Represent Inpro at trade exhibitions, industry events, trade associations, golf outings, and other networking opportunities.
• Review weekly reports from inside divisional representatives to optimize territory insights.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director and coordinate remotely with Inside Divisional Sales and National Account Representatives.
• Implement manager-approved pricing discounts and uphold company policies and procedures.
• A college degree is mandatory.
• Prior inside or outside sales experience in a business-to-business setting.
• Proven success in prospecting, cold-calling, and developing business.
• Demonstrated history of successful sales growth and teamwork.
• A self-driven individual capable of taking initiative and working independently while also effectively contributing in a team environment.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently with timely follow-through and attention to detail.
• Proficient in handling all types of customers and resolving conflicts assertively and calmly.
• Above-average problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional listening, probing, and closing skills.
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, PowerPoint presentations, and email.
• Ability to adapt swiftly and positively to the demands of company growth and development.
• Must reside in the southern half of California.
• Capability to apply pre-established pricing discounts as directed by the manager.
• Ability to enforce company policies and procedures effectively.
