This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the bridge between the sales team and clients while overseeing specialized engineering projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Director, Technical Sales Representatives in the Aluminum Sector, and Pyrotek’s diverse manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct joint visits to customers as necessary.
• Oversee assigned projects from the qualification stage through to commissioning.
• Assess quotations, develop project plans, estimate costs and parameters, follow up on projects, and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Work together with the manufacturing team on product development and design modifications.
• Regularly visit customers as required by Representatives and ongoing project needs.
• Address customer inquiries regarding products and services for accounts not assigned to representatives.
• Engage in sales meetings and other relevant events.
• Occasionally assist with projects at the Research and Development Center.
• Provide technical assistance to the plant during manufacturing processes as required.
• Serve as the primary contact for smaller customers and offer pricing information.
• Support Project Managers with engineering-related tasks.
• Take initiative in cost-saving and production enhancement projects.
• Enhance professional and technical expertise by participating in internal or external training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records using company tools, including CRM, SharePoint, and other systems.
• Possess a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Capable of building and sustaining trusted relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Skilled in managing priorities and working under time constraints.
• Contribute to fostering positive relationships between manufacturing and sales teams.
• Eager to learn about processes related to the aluminum and foundry sectors.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings.
• Comfortable collaborating as part of a team.
• Creative and innovative thinker.
• Strong ethical standards.
• Knowledge in metallurgy is an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or other ERP systems.
• Experience with sales management software is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• College diploma in a design-related area combined with relevant experience.
• Other relevant university qualifications supplemented by several years of experience.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a related capacity.
