This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Showcase the capabilities, products, and services of PerkinElmer Chromatography in the market.
• Serve as a liaison for customers and represent the Chromatography product lines within the designated territory.
• Increase sales volume and implement sales strategies that align with regional and corporate objectives.
• Manage existing customer accounts while identifying potential new clients.
• Engage in trade shows to enhance market share and profitability.
• Create product-line strategies and ensure that compensation margins align with company targets.
• Formulate and execute business plans.
• Effectively manage time and territory.
• Deliver business and technical information, assess customer needs and trends, and promote support services.
• Offer insights into techniques and products while following up on inquiries.
• Keep customer records updated in approved CRM tools and technologies.
• Provide timely updates on opportunity funnels and weekly forecasts; manage the funnel to enhance forecasting precision and meet growth objectives.
• Build partnerships with customers and suppliers to deliver customer solutions.
• Address customer issues by recommending solutions based on competitive offerings and market conditions.
• Collaborate closely with regional sales, service, product specialists, and business unit teams.
• Offer product support to the sales team.
• Provide local assistance for scheduled customer events.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Direct experience with Chromatography, including LC, GC, or HPLC.
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in selling or supporting Chromatography instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Must reside within the assigned sales territory.
• Comprehensive understanding of business factors that influence account profitability, competitive positioning, and laboratory operations.
• Experience with analytical laboratory software and instruments is a plus.
• Laboratory experience using Chromatography instrumentation is preferred.
