This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the main consultant and territory manager for designated K–12 assessment accounts.
• Foster revenue growth through a consultative sales approach.
• Collaborate with clients to identify, assess, and implement assessment solutions.
• Align Pearson School Assessment offerings with the instructional, diagnostic, and intervention requirements of districts.
• Guide clients through intricate decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets through effective territory and pipeline management.
• Develop and implement a strategic business development plan.
• Provide consultative, content-driven, and practice-based pre-sales support.
• Identify and cultivate new acquisition opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building efforts.
• Increase revenue within existing accounts by establishing multi-level relationships and uncovering additional needs.
• Navigate complex sales cycles that involve numerous decision-makers and influencers.
• Advance opportunities through negotiation and closing processes.
• Engage in and support RFP processes.
• Present sales and informational content to districts, organizations, and stakeholder groups.
• Maintain activity records, pipeline, and forecasting data in Salesforce.
• Generate forecasts and sales reports.
• Keep abreast of federal, state, and local K–12 education funding sources.
• Stay informed about Pearson School Assessment products, competitors, industry trends, and the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in school psychology, education, school administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of proven sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers across departments in K–12 education.
• Established connections with district-level leaders within the assigned territory preferred.
• Strong knowledge of K–12 assessment trends, practices, and regulatory factors.
• Excellent business development, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, phone communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and territory-management abilities.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Capability to work independently while managing a high volume of customer interactions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, shift focus rapidly, and respond effectively in real-time customer interactions.
• Proficiency in articulating professional and market trends and applying them in discussions with customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Comfortable functioning in a largely independent, virtual team setting.
