This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders in the Liver/Hepatology Medical Oncology community.
• Manage designated geographic territories and promote FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers sales.
• Engage with senior management teams from major IVD manufacturers as assigned.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of IVD reagent systems, distribution methods, and the clinical performance and utility of assays.
• Exhibit disease-state expertise and effectively communicate customer value propositions.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits of screening and surveillance for liver cancer.
• Foster relationships within offices and gather customer feedback to address account needs.
• Customize messaging to align with customer objectives and priorities.
• Seek growth opportunities, eliminate customer obstacles, and modify sales strategies accordingly.
• Analyze sales data, evaluate trends, and adjust sales tactics based on insights.
• Prepare account discussions utilizing available resources, market information, and sales experience.
• Build networks with cross-functional stakeholders and implement best practices.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain knowledge and databases for accounts and key customers.
• Employ key account management, best practices, and effective selling techniques.
• Collaborate with office and laboratory personnel to provide reimbursement support and test coding.
• Create business plans for strategic accounts with resource allocations linked to business outcomes.
• Analyze business dynamics, technical challenges, and evolving market conditions.
• Establish relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to broaden the IVD portfolio.
• Work in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Formulate long-term institutional account activation strategies involving gatekeepers and influencers.
• Ensure accurate business information for promoted products is maintained.
• Comply with company, compliance, regulatory, and procedural guidelines.
• Communicate sales, quality, and compliance matters within the FUJIFILM IVD organization.
• Utilize IVD reporting systems and Salesforce.com for tracking sales opportunities, expenses, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs when necessary.
• Address customer concerns and outline resolution pathways.
• Assist with the implementation of i30 capital equipment placements as directed.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or oncology medical experience (relevant clinical experience) or a marketing equivalent is preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge in various tumor types is preferred.
• Experience selling in an adult oncology setting is preferred.
• Experience in launching new products and/or indications is preferred.
• Experience selling a product in conjunction with both capital and companion diagnostics is preferred.
• Sales experience in diagnostic and/or genomic testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next-generation sequencing is preferred.
• A scientific background and understanding of clinical trials is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills are required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of the essential elements of an effective business plan.
• Ability to sit for 75–100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time.
• Close vision capability at 20 inches or less.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Compliance with U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 requirements, and other relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
