This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities through outbound efforts, incoming leads, referrals, market research, and reactivation initiatives.
• Conduct discovery conversations to gain insights into client shipping volumes, current carriers, challenges, platforms, service requirements, and growth potential.
• Evaluate prospects based on commercial compatibility, shipping profile, compliance criteria, operational viability, and anticipated revenue.
• Showcase Chit Chats services and customize discussions to meet client needs.
• Create pricing comparisons, savings reports, proposals, and follow-up documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Data, Product, and Operations teams on intricate pricing or service-fit inquiries.
• Ensure accurate documentation of lead, opportunity, and client data in the CRM system.
• Monitor outreach activities, follow-ups, next steps, and deal progression.
• Coordinate with Onboarding and Account Management to ensure seamless transitions post-close.
• Follow up with prospects to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Recognize client needs that could inform product development, service enhancements, marketing initiatives, or partnerships.
• Contribute to sales campaigns, targeted outreach, and market analysis.
• Achieve or surpass activity, pipeline, conversion, activation, and revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in client outreach within the Logistics (B2B) sector is a significant advantage.
• Prior sales experience in Logistics/Supply Chain B2B is highly valued.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, discovery calls, follow-ups, and client presentations.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with the capability to recommend practical solutions.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
• Capacity to learn about Chit Chats services, pricing structures, shipping processes, compliance factors, and operational requirements.
• Familiarity with CRM software, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to coordinate with internal teams.
• Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable working towards sales objectives.
• Ability to balance revenue growth with client suitability, profitability, and operational feasibility.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, or sales support within Logistics/Supply Chain.
• Experience in e-commerce, shipping, logistics, marketplaces, or services for small businesses is beneficial.
• B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related field, is considered an asset.
• The successful candidate will be subjected to reference and criminal background checks prior to employment.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Eligibility to take part in the Sales Incentive Plan (Commission - tiered).
