This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Identify and seek out new business opportunities through outbound outreach, incoming leads, referrals, market research, and reactivation campaigns.
β’ Conduct discovery calls to gain insights into client shipping volume, current carriers, pain points, platforms, service requirements, and potential for growth.
β’ Assess prospects based on their commercial alignment, shipping profile, compliance needs, operational feasibility, and anticipated revenue.
β’ Showcase Chit Chats services and customize solutions to cater to client requirements.
β’ Create pricing comparisons, savings summaries, proposals, and follow-up documents.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Data, Product, and Operations teams on complex pricing or service-fit inquiries.
β’ Ensure accurate management of leads, opportunities, and client information in the CRM.
β’ Monitor outreach activities, follow-ups, next steps, and stages of deals.
β’ Work in conjunction with Onboarding and Account Management to ensure seamless transitions post-close.
β’ Follow up with prospects to facilitate the progression of opportunities through the sales pipeline.
β’ Recognize client needs that could influence products, service enhancements, marketing strategies, or partnerships.
β’ Contribute to sales campaigns, outreach specific to verticals, and market research initiatives.
β’ Achieve or surpass activity, pipeline, conversion, activation, and revenue goals.
β’ Report to the Sales Manager β Business Development.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Experience in client outreach within the Logistics sector (B2B) is highly regarded.
β’ Prior sales experience in Logistics/Supply Chain B2B is considered a strong advantage.
β’ Comfortable engaging in cold outreach, conducting discovery calls, following up, and delivering client presentations.
β’ Exhibits a strong customer-first approach and the capability to recommend practical solutions.
β’ Possesses good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects across various stages.
β’ Capable of grasping services, pricing structures, shipping workflows, compliance issues, and operational requirements.
β’ Proficient in using CRM software, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness at coordinating with internal teams.
β’ Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable working towards sales objectives.
β’ Ability to balance revenue growth with client suitability, profitability, and operational feasibility.
β’ Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
β’ 2β5+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, or sales support in Logistics/Supply Chain with small to mid-size shipments.
β’ Preferred experience in e-commerce, shipping, logistics, marketplaces, or small business services.
β’ B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related industry, is advantageous.
β’ The successful candidate will be subject to reference and criminal background checks prior to employment.
β’ Must be eligible to work in Canada based on the specific job location.
