This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee the entire state of Connecticut
• Drive business growth within a designated territory
• Initiate, support, and cultivate strategic implanting centers
• Assist in building essential referral networks
• Serve as the primary contact for account/implanter relationships to address customer needs within the assigned territory
• Handle account-level reimbursement duties
• Organize support activities and establish sales partnerships with distribution alliances
• Promote implantable devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and medical personnel
• Advocate for Medtronic's value proposition
• Collaborate with strategic implanting centers to enhance account/implanter practices
• Offer product and therapy technical support and services
• Provide consultation on strategic management and analysis of sales trends
• Engage with Neuro business partners to present marketing and business strategies for territory advancement and growth
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competitive products
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality policies and systems
• Adhere to work and quality procedures for quality-system compliance
• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years in medical sales; or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of Medtronic Neuroscience (Pain, Brain, or Spine) Clinical Specialist experience
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary
• In-depth understanding of the reimbursement landscape
• Familiarity with operating room environments
• Strong skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis
• Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to work under pressure
• Proficient in utilizing mobile phones, iPads, and PCs
• Capable of managing personal expenses and budgets effectively
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment
