This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle for enterprise accounts
• Establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders in the district
• Create and implement strategic territory plans for new sales, renewals, and services
• Develop, monitor, and enhance territory forecasts in collaboration with sales leadership
• Manage the budget for the territory
• Analyze the competitive landscape and collect market intelligence
• Comprehend district priorities, state and local political contexts, and current educational research
• Build and oversee a strong sales pipeline
• Evaluate district needs and remain updated on upcoming district adoptions
• Keep territory data accurate and current
• Handle both inbound and outbound leads
• Conduct discovery meetings to identify sales opportunities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with district-level decision-makers
• Present sales information and assist with pilots for Tier 2 accounts
• Regularly visit districts in person
• Engage in regional events and assist with implementations
• Direct territory strategy alongside Pre-Sales and Success Teams
• Provide actionable insights to the Regional Sales Director
• Maintain regular check-ins with districts and connect them to implementation resources
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally in the education sector
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets
• Strong understanding of educational programs, curriculum, and pedagogy
• Ability to clearly and compellingly communicate the value of educational solutions
• Proven success in managing and expanding a sales pipeline within a set territory
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially Pre-Sales, Success, and Implementation teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
• Must reside within the designated territory; candidates located in the Bay Area of Northern California preferred
• Capability to occasionally lift, reach, and move products weighing up to 40 lbs
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time via domestic air travel and driving, including overnight stays
• Successful completion of a background check
• Required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Required to perform the role at specific client sites based on vaccination status
