This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans to enhance awareness, adoption, and utilization of Cologuard while meeting sales targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and other crucial stakeholders.
• Recognize unmet needs and provide value-driven diagnostic solutions.
• Assess local healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to uncover opportunities that improve patient outcomes and optimize the care system.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers to execute customer-specific business strategies and maximize account performance.
• Record customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development within CRM while upholding ethical, quality, and compliance standards.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and boost the adoption of Cologuard and other diagnostic solutions.
• Operate throughout the Montgomery, Alabama territory with 75% travel.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, or four (4) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two (2) years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management OR one (1) year of sales experience combined with one (1) year of healthcare-related experience OR completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or higher.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capability to build credibility and influence customers.
• Strong organizational, time management, and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel daily within the designated territory, including occasional overnight trips.
• Capacity to satisfy healthcare facility credentialing requirements, including vaccination or other site-specific mandates where applicable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: Two (2) or more years of experience in medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare sales.
• Preferred: Experience engaging with primary care physicians or other healthcare provider customers.
• Preferred: Proven success in commissioned sales and territory management.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing data and business intelligence tools to inform account planning and sales strategy.
• Preferred: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
