Sales Manager – Product, Fraud & Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of product sales executives throughout the AMER region.

• Establish a strategic direction and operational plan to achieve pipeline, bookings, attach rate, adoption, and revenue targets.

• Oversee the creation of a sales pipeline, deal progression, forecasting, target performance, and essential sales metrics.

• Guide consultative, solution-oriented sales processes from initial discovery to closure and launch.

• Collaborate with Core Account Executives on high-potential Fraud & Risk opportunities.

• Engage in strategic initiatives, cultivate executive relationships, shape commercial strategies, and facilitate deal closures.

• Create scalable sales strategies aimed at new business acquisition, expansion, and growth of strategic accounts.

• Establish feedback mechanisms with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

• Motivate and support the individual development and career advancement of direct reports.

• Articulate a plan that aligns with Stripe’s vision and the Global Fraud & Risk organization.

• Enhance sales processes, operational systems, and overall team efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology sales.

• More than 5 years in a leadership role managing people.

• At least 3 years of experience in the payments or financial services sector.

• Proven track record in leading enterprise new-business and expansion sales initiatives.

• Experience in selling complex, technical, or regulated products through multi-stakeholder procurement processes.

• Capability to recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team while navigating a matrixed environment.

• Proficient in building cross-functional relationships, inspiring others, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts among diverse stakeholder groups.

• High energy, a strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, and a commitment to delivering results.
