This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand Yondr’s Events division in North America.
• Generate Event leads through both inbound and outbound methods.
• Provide quotes for Event services by evaluating client requirements and the nature of the event.
• Design an on-site plan for each Event, encompassing staffing, layout, and logistics.
• Be available on the event day to address and resolve any potential issues.
• Enter and update Event and client data in internal systems.
• Assess event success by gathering feedback from attendees and staff.
• Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers.
• Ensure clients feel supported and are successful in organizing phone-free events.
• Manage the transition from sales discussions to implementation and account oversight.
• Organize and source phone-free private events, particularly weddings, corporate functions, hospitality, celebrity engagements, and music events.
• Drive new business initiatives and oversee the execution of phone-free events from inception to completion.
• At least 4 years of experience in event planning or production.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in sales.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in recruiting, hiring, and retaining staff.
• Strong passion for Yondr’s mission.
• Enjoy engaging with people face-to-face.
• Willingness to travel and be on the road frequently.
• Enthusiastic about working on-site at events.
• Open to working on weekends and during "event hours."
• Familiar with the terminology used by event and wedding planners.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all facets of the role.
• Competent in using Google Suite.
• Must not require employment visa sponsorship, as Yondr is unable to provide such support.
