This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the sales manager for the General Industry Sales Team, responsible for revenue generation alongside team leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of sales professionals to consistently meet revenue goals.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and potential areas for enhancement.
• Allocate resources effectively and collaborate across departments to implement sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
• Assist in the commercialization of new product introductions (NPI) and aim to meet NPI sales goals.
• Foster team engagement, performance, and retention.
• Build and lead high-performing, inclusive teams by setting clear expectations, empowering team members, and promoting accountability, engagement, and retention.
• Advocate for customer value and innovation by utilizing VOC, market insights, and business acumen to deliver unique solutions and anticipate emerging trends.
• Drive strategic execution and results through prioritization, data-driven decision-making, rigorous execution, and adaptability in complex, rapidly changing environments.
• Demonstrated experience in field sales leadership, managing and coaching geographically dispersed sales teams to achieve and surpass revenue, growth, and margin objectives.
• Strong background in B2B sales and account management, including new business development, key account growth, and managing complex opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to implement sales strategies through data-driven forecasting, pipeline management, and disciplined use of CRM and sales metrics.
• Customer-focused mindset with the capacity to uncover customer insights, apply VOC, and deliver differentiated solutions that generate measurable value.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills, capable of motivating teams, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and navigating change.
• Continuous training in sales, product knowledge, and leadership with a high learning agility to adapt quickly in dynamic, competitive market conditions.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time between team locations and individual customers.
• Ability to travel frequently (up to 50–70%), including extended driving periods (up to 4 hours at a time) and air travel.
• Proficient in using standard office equipment and technology, such as laptops, mobile devices, and CRM tools.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
