This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Promote CORE clients’ products to both existing and prospective customers at the distributor and operator levels.
• Establish reliable relationships with distributor sales leadership and field teams.
• Create distributor-specific strategies for key clients, including launches, penetration, conversions, inventory management, marketing, retention, and recovering lost customers.
• Identify and cultivate significant opportunities with independent operators.
• Engage Distributor Sales Representatives through collaborative selling, product education, opportunity planning, and lead follow-up.
• Implement CORE’s Seven Step sales framework to encourage trial, conversion, and repeat purchases.
• Convert approved client initiatives into actionable distributor and operator activities, adhering to pricing, contractual, compliance, and program guidelines.
• Track stock levels, new item placements, slow-moving products, usage variations, competitive actions, and execution risks; escalate significant issues as necessary.
• Keep precise Salesforce records and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.
• Utilize Salesforce, Power BI, distributor reports, and market data to enhance targeting, forecasting, and business evaluations.
• Organize and facilitate distributor meetings, training sessions, client visits, vendor fairs, and food exhibitions.
• Relay successes, challenges, market insights, barriers, and support requirements to the Market Director, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate travel and field activities; manage samples, materials, expenses, Everlance, and company resources effectively.
• Achieve or surpass assigned distributor, client, case volume, distribution, conversion, penetration, and operator development targets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in foodservice sales, distribution, restaurant operations, hospitality, or account management.
• A minimum of three years of experience in managing a sales territory, distributor relationship, account portfolio, or a similar business.
• Proven track record of successfully influencing distributor teams and achieving measurable outcomes through launches, penetration, conversions, and full-cycle selling.
• Familiarity with foodservice distribution, operator segments, client programs, buying groups, GPOs, and contract-managed accounts.
• Capability to translate client goals into distributor strategies, influence without direct authority, interpret sales and stock status data, prioritize opportunities, and provide a fact-based forecast.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Teams, CRM systems, and specific selling and reporting tools.
• Competence in preparing and conducting distributor meetings, product training, client visits, food shows, and follow-ups on opportunities.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required for business purposes.
• Prompt usage of Everlance for tracking mileage and expenses.
• Ability to drive extensively within the assigned territory, covering up to 250 miles per day.
• Capacity to stand and remain active for prolonged periods, up to four-hour segments, and sustain 8–10+ hours of activity in the field or at food shows.
• Ability to walk moderate distances and navigate through restaurants, kitchens, storage areas, loading zones, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Capacity to lift, carry, transport, set up, and dismantle items typically weighing between 30–40 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and maneuver within tight or busy environments.
• Proficiency in using hands and arms to handle products, prepare samples, operate tools or equipment, drive, and present effectively.
