This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Propel regional sales growth by cultivating and converting a pipeline of qualified opportunities throughout the Americas region.
• Develop, oversee, and sustain the pipeline through market analysis, customer engagement, lead generation, and channel partner development.
• Meet revenue, margin, and conversion objectives through systematic opportunity management.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects within Mining & Minerals, Food & Beverage, High-Tech Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Industrial Water Treatment sectors.
• Advance opportunities from qualification through to contract award.
• Assist with pricing, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
• Establish and nurture relationships with industrial clients, OEMs, and channel partners.
• Aid in strategic account development and long-term customer growth initiatives.
• Provide value-based, consultative technical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and marketing teams for project execution, product implementation, and customer satisfaction.
• Organize internal resources for prompt delivery of customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer investment strategies, regulatory changes, and competitive activities.
• Convert market insights into business opportunities and assist with product positioning.
• Contribute to regional go-to-market strategies and territory development plans.
• Maintain updates on the pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records.
• Track opportunities, customer interactions, and commercial activities.
• Report on pipeline status, opportunity health, and regional performance metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Technology, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial water treatment, specialty chemicals, industrial process industries, or technical B2B sales settings is preferred.
• A proven track record in business development, pipeline generation, and customer acquisition within industrial markets is advantageous.
• Strong aptitude for opportunity identification, pipeline management, and deal closure within technical B2B contexts.
• Ability to comprehend and convey industrial water treatment applications and customer operational challenges.
• Capacity to build trust and credibility across diverse cultures.
• Proficiency in coordinating effectively with technical, commercial, and operational teams.
• Capability to manage priorities and consistently achieve targets.
• Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with disciplined CRM, forecasting, and reporting methodologies.
• Familiarity with Americas markets and business practices.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within the Americas.
