Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Proactively seek out, target, and secure new customer accounts throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland within the seafood, meat, and general food packaging sectors.

• Implement organized prospecting initiatives, encompassing cold outreach, warm leads, events, and trade exhibitions.

• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

• Transform pilot projects into framework agreements and enduring customer relationships.

• Lead commercial negotiations concerning pricing, volumes, and contract terms for new business opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with the Germany Sales Director based in Hamburg regarding territory and account management.

• Work in partnership with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to provide solutions aligned with customer needs.

• Ensure precise CRM reporting, weekly pipeline updates, and monthly forecasts for Germany leadership and Norway headquarters.

• Represent FBS/Amcor at industry events, such as Fish International and other relevant food industry forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possess 3-5 years of B2B field sales experience, preferably in food packaging, industrial packaging, seafood, meat, or cold-chain sectors.

• Proven hunter profile: clear track record of securing new accounts in a competitive B2B landscape.

• Comfortable dedicating the majority of time to fieldwork (3–4 days per week with clients).

• Strong negotiation abilities and a commercial mindset.

• Native or C2-level proficiency in German.

• Working proficiency in English required for group reporting.

• Willingness to travel.

• Flexibility to operate across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
