This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Assist in shaping the strategy and vision of the Supply Chain Solutions division by exploring new business opportunities and diversifying the customer base.
• Build and foster new customer relationships.
• Support and implement the Go-to-Market strategy along with the NXTPoint Commercial Strategy.
• Propel new business development for specialized logistics and 3PL services, with an emphasis on FF&E, B2B final-mile, and transportation management solutions.
• Provide customized white-glove project management solutions.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans aimed at FF&E logistics customers and related project sectors.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct consultative discovery to design tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to create bespoke 3PL solutions.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting to solution design, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and onboarding support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Track market trends in freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, and specialized supply chain services.
• Lead and engage in sales presentations and negotiations.
• Achieve or surpass annual individual sales targets.
• Prepare reports and maintain customer information in HubSpot.
• Utilize ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect creation.
• Attend industry conferences on a national, regional, and local level.
• Work in conjunction with Marketing on proposals, presentations, RFPs, and collateral.
• Collaborate with Sales and Contracts on pricing and contract conditions.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Take on additional assignments and engage in project work as needed.
• A college degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• At least 3 (three) years of business development experience in a relevant sales role within the industry.
• A proven history of developing prospects and acquiring new customers.
• Prior experience with freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, consolidation/distribution, final-mile B2B white glove delivery, and Project/Installation Services.
• Willingness to travel 25%-40% of the time.
• Demonstrated sales and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prospective client relocation policies and contract documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in presenting information to senior management, prospects, and public audiences.
• Customer service-oriented interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of prioritizing, multitasking, organizing workflow, and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and related software applications.
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively across different cultures.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate in front of groups of customers or employees.
• Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to execute written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
