This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Propel the growth of Clear Water Services’ industrial environmental consulting offerings across the Portland/Vancouver area and neighboring markets.
• Discover and cultivate new opportunities within industrial consultancy.
• Establish connections with industrial facilities, EHS teams, environmental consultants, contractors, and strategic allies.
• Engage in outbound prospecting, customer meetings, site assessments, presentations, and industry networking events.
• Foster existing client relationships while broadening service offerings across accounts.
• Enhance environmental consultancy services, which include stormwater permit assistance, compliance support, inspections, monitoring, reporting, and ongoing facility aid.
• Create a steady stream of industrial clients for compliance, consulting, treatment, and operational services.
• Present additional Clear Water Services capabilities to current industrial accounts.
• Acquire knowledge of regional industrial stormwater and wastewater permits, regulatory requirements, and customer compliance challenges.
• Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to design practical scopes of work.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM.
• Function within and promote Tidal Vision and Clear Water Services’ mission-driven culture and core values.
• 3-5+ years of sales experience, preferably in environmental consulting, engineering, industrial water treatment, stormwater management, or a related technical field.
• Mechanical aptitude coupled with a problem-solving approach.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and other general estimating tools.
• Experience with industrial stormwater or wastewater permits, including compliance, inspections, monitoring, reporting, or corrective actions (preferred).
• Familiarity with industrial facilities and environmental compliance issues related to regulated operations (preferred).
• Understanding of NPDES industrial stormwater permits and relevant state and regional regulatory requirements (preferred).
• Experience in developing scopes of work, proposals, or technical solutions for industrial clients (preferred).
• Established relationships within the Pacific Northwest industrial sector, environmental consulting, engineering, or regulatory community (preferred).
• Subject to a criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside in the Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the work week.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols, including appropriate PPE usage.
