This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee sales and accounts within the designated territory for both existing primary and secondary customers.
• Promote and sell Cencora products and services.
• Ensure customer retention and uphold contract compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and execute solutions.
• Concentrate on recapturing generic leaks within assigned accounts.
• Uphold excellence in customer service while proactively enhancing product, skill, and industry knowledge.
• Achieve or surpass targets for revenue, profit, margin, and solution sales.
• Maintain relationships with CSP Bronze segment customers and facilitate successful renewals.
• Develop existing accounts into CSP Silver/Priority/Hi-Po segment accounts and transition them to the field sales team when suitable.
• Market Cencora offerings, including Good Neighbor Pharmacy, Business Coaching, PRxO Generics, and Elevate Provider Network.
• Emphasize the value of prime vendor agreements and address customer non-compliance issues.
• Negotiate and execute Prime Vendor Agreements.
• Drive sales of generics and assess PRxO generics profitability data.
• Formulate and implement strategies for ongoing growth in generic sales.
• Meet monthly sales and activity objectives, including call volume, orders, and revenue.
• Convert secondary customers into primary customers using Cencora’s Suite of Offerings.
• Travel for customer visits and business events as required.
• Report directly to the District Director.
• Proven track record of successful consultative selling across diverse customer markets, leading to enhanced customer sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible sales experience that is directly related.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, retail, and alternate care segments is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail and alternate care industries, including trends and customer challenges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences.
• Capacity to actively listen and persuade others with differing viewpoints.
• Excellent organizational agility and capability to collaborate across internal teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits as needed.
• Openness to travel for conferences and national and district sales meetings.
• Accounts serviced in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
