Sales Engineer – TOLA, Majors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Drive additional revenue by capitalizing on large, intricate sales opportunities that highlight Cyera’s capabilities and integrated value proposition.

• Diagnose client business challenges and desired outcomes, designing information availability solutions utilizing Cyera’s products and services.

• Execute, oversee, and conduct proofs of value (PoVs) and Use Case Demos (UCDs) at customer locations.

• Consult with key executive stakeholders while facilitating sales through technical presentations.

• Coordinate internal resources via cross-functional communication to support sales initiatives and establish a sustainable, repeatable business model.

• Serve as the technical liaison for Cyera’s expanding partner channel.

• Represent Cyera at various marketing events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security within a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales position.

• Proficient knowledge in one of the three leading cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API (preferably AWS and/or Azure).

• Basic understanding of networking and database systems.

• Strong grasp of data storage types along with a fundamental understanding of encryption techniques, key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocol.

• Basic understanding of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, and Privacy and Data Retention programs.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking.

• Results-driven attitude and a passion for thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the creativity to address customer challenges effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

• Preferred certifications include one or more of the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or CCSP.
