This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Attain expertise in all aspects of Dedrone technology
• Deliver engaging business and technical presentations
• Engage in technical discussions with IT departments, CIOs, channel partner executives, and technical stakeholders
• Establish and oversee expectations for customers and team members
• Provide initial technical support throughout the pre-sales process
• Overcome sales challenges through innovative thinking and flexibility
• Cultivate relationships with essential partners
• Address customer RFPs and RFIs
• Position technology effectively against competing solutions
• Represent Dedrone's products, company ethos, and brand at customer meetings and industry events
• Manage the POC/Pilot process, including logistics coordination, objective assessment, customized testing and findings, as well as configuration and orientation assistance
• Enhance or create technical documentation
• Gather requested features and relay feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Create Statements of Work for Professional Services
• Undertake additional assigned tasks and projects
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, and IEEE 802.11
• Solid grasp of Linux operating systems
• Basic knowledge of physical security, IP camera installation, and related technologies
• Fundamental understanding of drone technology; experience in flying is a plus
• Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
• 3-5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience required
• Proven experience in selling SaaS-based solutions
• Attributes of intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive demeanor
• Basic familiarity or interest in security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools and methodologies
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices
• Ability to work autonomously with considerable freedom for action and decision-making
• Excellent presentation skills, technical proficiency, ability to simplify complex ideas, and capability to collaborate across functions
• Experience in developing Statements of Work or similar documentation
