This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Attain comprehensive expertise in all Dedrone technologies.
• Facilitate business and technical presentations.
• Engage in technical discussions with IT departments, CIOs, channel partner executives, and technical stakeholders.
• Establish and oversee expectations for customers and team members.
• Provide initial technical support throughout the pre-sales process.
• Address sales challenges through innovative thinking and adaptability.
• Cultivate relationships with key partners.
• Respond to customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Position technology in relation to competitive products.
• Represent Dedrone products, company values, and brand during customer meetings and field events.
• Manage the Proof of Concept (POC)/Pilot process, including logistics coordination, requirement assessment, test customization, and assistance with configuration and orientation.
• Enhance or create technical documentation.
• Capture feature requests and offer insights to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Draft Statements of Work for Professional Services.
• Execute other assigned tasks and projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, and IEEE 802.11.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of physical security and IP camera placement and technologies.
• Fundamental understanding of drone technology; experience with flying is a plus.
• Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles is required.
• Experience in selling SaaS-based solutions.
• Attributes such as intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive mindset.
• Basic knowledge or interest in security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools and methodologies.
• Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
• Capability to work independently with significant freedom for action and decision-making.
• Excellent presentation skills, technical aptitude, ability to simplify complex concepts, and experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience in developing Statements of Work or similar documentation.
