Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Generate additional revenue through substantial, intricate sales opportunities

• Recognize client business challenges and their desired results

• Design comprehensive cloud data security and data risk management solutions utilizing Cyera’s products and services

• Execute, oversee, and present proofs of value and use case demonstrations at customer locations

• Consult with key executive stakeholders

• Propel sales through technical presentations

• Coordinate internal resources via cross-functional communication

• Assist in sales initiatives to establish a sustainable, repeatable business model

• Act as the technical liaison for Cyera’s partner channel

• Represent Cyera at marketing events

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security within a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales capacity

• In-depth knowledge of one of the three leading cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API; AWS and/or Azure preferred

• Basic network and database knowledge

• Strong comprehension of various data storage types

• Fundamental understanding of encryption methods and key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocols

• Basic grasp of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy, and Data Retention programs

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities

• Capability to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking

• Results-driven mindset with a desire to excel in a fast-paced startup environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to tackle customer challenges

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned area

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, and CCSP
