This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with sales teams to determine customer needs and create technical solutions that align with commercial goals.
• Offer pre-sales technical expertise and application support to meet sales and growth objectives.
• Act as a technical resource for distributors, enhancing their capabilities, fostering relationships, and promoting market development.
• Regularly engage with distributors and channel partners to assist in opportunity development, customer retention, and business expansion.
• Take part in customer meetings, site evaluations, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
• Design, specify, and configure Sensitech products and services tailored to customer applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, drawings, calculations, and necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure that solutions satisfy operational, technical, and commercial criteria.
• Assist in project planning, including equipment selection, material needs, and implementation timelines.
• Work in coordination with project management, operations, and service teams to execute projects.
• Address technical challenges and provide recommendations to support project delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and handover processes.
• Provide technical training and product knowledge to customers, distributors, and sales colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, projects, and customer interactions in company systems, including CRM tools.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Travel approximately 40% throughout Europe.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Technical Discipline, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Background in sales engineering, solution architecture, technical sales support, project coordination, or a similar field.
• Strong technical aptitude with the capability to convert customer requirements into feasible solutions.
• Proficiency in German and Italian is mandatory.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across different functions.
• Proficient in standard business applications and CRM tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe, around 40% of the time.
• Appropriate right to work and employment eligibility for the relevant European location.
• Preferred: experience in supporting customers and distributors in industrial, food, cold chain, HVAC, refrigeration, or related sectors.
• Preferred: experience working with channel partners and nurturing distributor relationships.
• Preferred: familiarity with project coordination and implementation processes.
• Preferred: strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
