This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on intricate new business and expansion initiatives, particularly during advanced demonstrations, technical validation, integration discussions, and enterprise engagements.
• Assist Account Managers by providing technical expertise to support the expansion or retention of existing clients.
• Convert prospects’ business needs, workflows, and technical requirements into pertinent Buildout values and outcomes.
• Provide customized product demonstrations tailored to specific use cases and diverse audiences.
• Develop technical discovery methodologies and equip Account Executives to identify technical and workflow specifications.
• Oversee complex discussions regarding products and integrations, encompassing aspects like integrations, APIs, reporting, commissions, workflows, security, and other technical factors.
• Create and manage a dependable demo environment that highlights the customer journey through Buildout’s product suite.
• Work in conjunction with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, Implementation, and Support teams.
• Establish the necessary processes, resources, and operational methods to scale Sales Engineering.
• Report directly to Matt Carroll, Vice President of Sales.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a client-facing Sales Engineer position, preferably within a SaaS sales organization.
• Excellent presentation and discovery abilities.
• Proven experience in leading customized product demonstrations for various audiences.
• Experience working closely with Sales and cross-functional groups, including Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, or Implementation.
• Proficient in understanding integrations, workflows, APIs, and technical needs, along with the capacity to articulate their business benefits.
• Strong commercial awareness and technical fluency, with the ability to connect product functionalities to customer results.
• Capability to tailor demonstrations for end-users, technical stakeholders, and executives.
• Proactive, resourceful, and adept at creating processes and playbooks from scratch.
• Bonus experience in commercial real estate technology, Salesforce, APIs and integrations, AI-powered software, or complex SaaS products.
• Must possess the legal authorization to work in the United States for Buildout.
