This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct retail execution, broker partnerships, and distribution throughout the U.S.
• Ensure effective market execution by managing void fills, planogram implementation, and retail training and engagement.
• Act as the primary contact for brokers, merchandisers, and distributors.
• Establish and monitor quarterly and yearly objectives while providing continuous education and follow-up.
• Manage distributor inventory, purchase orders, and programming at the distributor level.
• Lead merchandising and broker teams, including goal-setting, guidance on initiatives, and training.
• Spearhead the planning and execution of new product launches, including setup, partner training, and retail rollout.
• Oversee the post-commitment execution of new retail launches.
• Function as the communication hub between field/market operations and internal teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication with brokers, distributors, and merchandisers.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with distributors and operations regarding purchase orders.
• Analyze retail voids, out-of-stock situations, and retail challenges, resolving issues with store management and external teams.
• Conduct regular training sessions and solicit feedback on execution performance.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams on promotional, market, and brand strategies.
• Travel 40% of the time for events, trade shows, and account visits.
• Personally visit retail locations to ensure planogram execution and foster retail relationships.
• Provide regular updates and transparent reports on broker, merchandiser, and distributor initiatives.
• Must reside in the Western United States, close to a major airport.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for events/trade shows and work-related travel on weekends.
• In-depth knowledge of retail execution strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage brokers and distributors to achieve sales targets.
• Strong organizational skills for overseeing inventory and purchase order processes.
• Excellent communication skills to convey progress and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for field and market work and developing relationships with retail partners.
• Experience working with UNFI and KEHE.
