This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Take charge of the North American commercial performance, achieving revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and market share goals for the Refrigerants Business Unit.
• Create and implement regional commercial strategies that foster growth, enhance customer retention, drive profitability, and facilitate market expansion across HVAC/R, Commercial Refrigeration, and Mobile Air Conditioning sectors.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing commercial team.
• Establish and sustain executive-level relationships with customers, distributors, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, contract management, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Product Management teams.
• Direct forecasting, S&OP commercial inputs, account planning, CRM excellence, pipeline management, and sales performance evaluations.
• Track industry trends, competitive activities, regulatory changes, and customer requirements to uncover opportunities and risks.
• Manage customer relationship management, dispute resolution, credit and payment performance, and commercial governance.
• Represent Orbia F&EM at customer interactions, trade associations, industry conferences, and executive business forums.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in specialty chemicals, industrial manufacturing, refrigerants, HVAC/R, advanced materials, or comparable B2B sectors.
• Demonstrated success in leading regional or national sales organizations with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, market share, and strategic customer development.
• Experience in formulating and executing commercial strategies while navigating complex business and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to negotiate high-value commercial agreements and manage relationships with Fortune 500 customers.
• In-depth knowledge of pricing strategy, forecasting, P&L management, commercial analytics, and business planning.
• Experience working within global matrix organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• A solid track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing commercial teams.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence customers, business partners, and senior leadership.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and commercial performance management systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% within North America.
• MBA is preferred.
• Experience in regulated, sustainability-focused, or compliance-driven industries is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
