This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel business expansion by researching, identifying, and attracting new employer groups and supplemental insurance opportunities through the broker-distributed model.
• Foster strong client relationships beyond the initial sale.
• Cultivate relationships and facilitate broker-driven sales of worksite voluntary benefits in targeted markets.
• Act as a prominent leader across relevant functional areas.
• Execute sales strategies and initiatives that support the growth of the business unit.
• Develop, enhance, and monetize broker relationships through consultative selling techniques.
• Manage time and work output effectively to meet sales goals and activity targets.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on new business intake utilizing enrollment technology platforms, file formats, and associated tools.
• Partner with Technology Specialists to ensure appropriate enrollment technology and group configurations are in place prior to enrollment.
• Assist the Client Concierge, Account Manager, and Case Manager with issues related to billing and remittance setup.
• Engage in quality control reviews and audits.
• Organize group setup, onboarding activities, workflows, and follow-up items with internal stakeholders.
• Take part in account management, re-enrollment strategy, and administrative structure meetings.
• Ensure that group documentation, including agent contracts, is accurately completed and entered before enrollment and processing of new business applications.
• Travel to collaborate with brokers and external partners.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in employee benefit sales or client-facing roles.
• Active resident Life & Health licensing in good standing.
• Demonstrated history of exceptional customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication, organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and a Contact Management System.
• Practical, articulate, and innovative with the ability to address complex business challenges.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable navigating multiple onboarding and administrative systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, showcasing leadership qualities.
• Familiarity with industry resources, group product quoting protocols, and existing broker relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the continental United States.
• Capability to travel at least 10 business days per month to engage with brokers and other external partners.
