This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the Sales Development function from scratch by creating processes, documenting best practices, and developing systems and playbooks.
• Execute focused outbound prospecting efforts directed at school districts, customizing messaging based on specific roles and district structures.
• Address inbound inquiries generated from the website, free trial enrollments, webinars, and events, converting these interests into qualified meetings and early-stage pipeline opportunities.
• Perform discovery calls to assess fit, identify pain points, and enhance meeting quality prior to handing opportunities over to Senior Sales Directors.
• Collaborate with Senior Sales Directors on account development at the district level by researching key districts, pinpointing stakeholders, and coordinating multi-threaded outreach efforts.
• Carry out follow-ups on marketing campaigns and outreach related to events.
• Keep CRM records updated with qualification details and account insights to improve forecasting and support long-cycle district sales.
• Experiment with messaging, cadences, and prospecting strategies to enhance the effectiveness of outreach and contribute to a scalable SDR playbook.
• Provide field insights to the Sales and Marketing teams to bolster ICP definitions, outreach strategies, and conversion rates within the sales funnel.
• 0–3 years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development position, preferably in B2B SaaS or EdTech sectors.
• Strong understanding of special education assessment workflows and SPED departments, including collaboration with school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
• Must reside within the United States.
• Proven experience prospecting in multi-stakeholder environments, such as school districts, healthcare systems, or other complex organizations.
• Proficient in using CRM and sales engagement tools, ideally Apollo and Salesforce.
• Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales development processes.
• Skilled in conducting discovery sessions with educational or clinical leaders to validate opportunities and identify pain points.
• Background in working with or selling to K-12 school districts or within EdTech environments.
