This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create opportunities within both existing and prospective customer accounts.
• Formulate tailored prospecting strategies for designated accounts or regions.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to build a robust pipeline within the specified area.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns, improve the campaign library, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Conduct cold outreach to expand the current customer base and introduce Splunk’s offerings to new prospects.
• Identify pertinent initiatives and projects for the assigned accounts.
• Clearly communicate the significance of account initiatives and illustrate how Splunk delivers valuable solutions.
• Develop pipeline, share, and implement account strategies.
• Research and organize accounts into strategic territory segments.
• Build new relationships within the designated territories.
• Navigate the customer purchasing processes as part of the account team.
• Present and convey compelling narratives about Splunk solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales or pipeline generation for technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is advantageous.
• Capability to apply specific solutions to customer challenges and recommend suitable products or services.
• Experience in managing a sales pipeline and tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and key indicators.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing account planning strategies.
• Ability to deliver clear messaging that communicates the value of SaaS solutions.
• Skill in assessing prospects’ potential to become customers.
• Successful experience in prospecting utilizing industry knowledge and market intelligence.
• Adaptability within a fast-paced sales environment.
• Resilience in managing rejection and overcoming challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills with prospects, customers, partners, and team members.
