This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create opportunities within current customer and prospective accounts.
• Formulate prospecting strategies customized for specific accounts or regions.
• Work in collaboration with sales teams to build a pipeline within the designated area.
• Design and execute campaigns while improving the existing campaign library.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing departments.
• Perform cold outbound prospecting to expand current customer relationships and introduce Splunk's offerings to new prospects.
• Identify significant initiatives and projects for assigned accounts.
• Clearly explain the importance of initiatives and showcase how Splunk delivers valuable solutions.
• Generate pipeline and create account plans.
• Research and categorize accounts into strategic segments.
• Establish new relationships within assigned territories.
• Guide the customer purchasing process as part of the account team.
• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in sales or pipeline generation for technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is an advantage.
• Capability to apply specific solutions to address customer challenges and suggest appropriate products or services.
• Experience in managing a sales pipeline and tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and key indicators.
• Proven ability to develop and execute account planning strategies.
• Skill in delivering clear messaging that communicates the value of SaaS solutions.
• Ability to assess prospects' potential to become customers.
• Successful experience in prospecting using industry insights and market intelligence.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Resilience in overcoming rejection and navigating challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills with prospects, customers, partners, and team members.
