This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Actively identify and investigate potential customers through various channels such as outbound prospecting, social media, industry research, networking events, and other lead generation avenues.
• Create new business opportunities by making a high volume of outbound calls, sending emails, utilizing LinkedIn, and implementing other digital engagement strategies.
• Assess both inbound and outbound leads by comprehending operational challenges, safety requirements, and purchasing processes.
• Arrange discovery calls, product demonstrations, and introductory meetings for Regional Sales Managers and Sales Specialists.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of Blackline Safety's connected safety solutions, which include lone worker technologies, gas detection, cloud software, and managed services.
• Stay informed about industry trends, safety regulations, and the competitive landscape to effectively market Blackline's solutions.
• Diligently document customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities within the HubSpot CRM.
• Achieve or surpass individual activity, pipeline generation, and qualified opportunity goals.
• Interact with prospects to comprehend their business needs and qualify leads based on established criteria.
• Organize meetings or demonstrations between leads/prospects and the sales team.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including activity levels, pipeline generation, conversion rates, and opportunity quality.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel Partners to optimize lead conversion and enhance sales processes.
• Provide regular updates on lead generation activities and progress to management.
• Represent Blackline Safety at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events as necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation.
• Experience in the safety or gas detection sector is considered advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling confident engagement with decision-makers across diverse industries.
• Proficient in using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar sales intelligence tools.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-driven, coachable, and results-oriented with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to utilize AI tools and technology to enhance productivity and sales effectiveness.
• Comfortable making a significant number of outbound calls and engaging prospects through various communication channels.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with a distributed sales team.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in English. Additional languages are a plus.
