This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Successfully complete the 12-month Sales Development Program – Architectural Track, which includes training and development rotations.
• Engage in a 6-month product and industry training module at the Training Facility located in Denver, CO.
• Participate in a virtual sales skills training course that occurs weekly for 8 weeks.
• Undertake a 3-month immersive architectural services training program within the local market alongside the architectural team.
• Complete a 3-month field training rotation working with Allegion’s field selling teams.
• Organize and carry out joint sales calls throughout the designated sales territory.
• Represent Allegion products and showcase solutions at local security trade shows.
• Gain insights into customers within the trade area and foster relationships with key decision-makers.
• Attend factory and external product training sessions.
• Build relationships across Allegion’s matrixed organization.
• Utilize Dynamics CRM, Overtur, and PowerBI data analytics to collect and maintain project information.
• Stay informed about and adhere to Allegion's policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Transition into a full-time sales position upon successful completion of the program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Marketing is preferred.
• Strong aptitude for mechanical and electronic systems.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong influencing skills are necessary, along with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• The company does not plan to offer sponsorship for employment visa status.
