This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.
• Identify and seek out new potential clients and leads.
• Generate and pre-qualify new leads utilizing company resources, programs, and tools.
• Conduct research on leads to pinpoint relevant prospects through various systems and data pools.
• Engage prospects via email or phone to spark interest and create new business opportunities.
• Create pre- and post-conference mail shots and follow-up communications.
• Follow up on marketing leads sourced from websites to convert hot leads.
• Assist in targeted email campaigns that align with strategic company objectives.
• Forward leads to the appropriate team members, including essential calls-to-action, deadlines, profile information, and sources.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments on sales and marketing strategies.
• Aid Sales and Business Development in generating new business and reaching targets.
• Schedule appointments and attend or present at meetings as required.
• Prepare and lead initial engagement presentations with clients to facilitate RFPs.
• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in an Inside Sales role within a CRO, Pharmacovigilance, or similar vendor in the clinical trials industry.
• Experience in developing new business, nurturing and qualifying leads, prospecting, and setting appointments.
• Solid understanding of Phase I-IV clinical development.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and sales automation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise information presentation via calls and emails.
• Strong drive and determination to succeed, along with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Must exhibit adaptability, professionalism, and motivation.
• Capable of listening to and identifying customer pain points and challenges.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain organization, multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and attend to administrative details in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
