This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Establish and nurture relationships with end users across education, healthcare, government, and various commercial sectors.
• Drive Allegion's market share in commercial hardware and electronic security solutions.
• Act as a business partner for end users by facilitating coordination, demand generation, and strategic sessions.
• Work in collaboration with internal specifications, electronics experts, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify, develop, and strengthen relationships with key influencers at targeted end-user facilities.
• Oversee the sales process through effective team communication, collaboration, and the use of CRM systems.
• Employ consultative selling techniques and active listening to recommend suitable Allegion solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and prioritize client accounts effectively.
• Discover innovative methods to generate demand for Allegion solutions.
• Maintain a strategic understanding of market dynamics and competitive advantages.
• Participate in factory training sessions focused on mechanical and electronic security solutions.
• Stay informed about industry standards and territory knowledge by analyzing competitive market data.
• Utilize social media to stay engaged with industry developments.
• Update CRM for sales reporting and communication regarding sales activities.
• Promote the adoption of customer-facing collaboration and integration tools.
• Train customers and partners on both new and existing products, including Allegion digital tools.
• Ensure compliance with Allegion's policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience; industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to pursue development and continuing education opportunities.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A degree in Sales, Business, or Marketing is advantageous.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently to achieve goals.
• Capacity to acquire knowledge regarding mechanical and electronic security solutions.
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles and electronic components.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proven experience in influencing others with a strong focus on action and customer service.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
