This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Drive revenue growth and enhance market penetration for Infinidat’s enterprise storage solutions within the Rome and South Italy region.
• Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities while managing and expanding select existing accounts.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with prospects, customers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated Pre-Sales Systems Engineer and the Channel Manager for Italy.
• Develop and implement territory plans.
• Navigate complex sales cycles and position Infinidat’s solutions in alignment with customer business and technical needs.
• Travel regularly throughout the designated territory to meet with customers and partners.
• Achieve or surpass quota through direct sales and collaboration with business partners.
• Open new enterprise accounts focusing on new logo acquisition and market expansion.
• Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to prospects and customers.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and the ecosystem.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and decision-makers.
• Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs/RFIs and tenders with partners and internal teams.
• Manage customer and partner satisfaction within the assigned territory.
• Position the company’s platform value and capabilities competitively.
• Penetrate large enterprise accounts and create opportunities among prospective and existing customers.
• Influence both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with the Infinidat team.
• 5–10 years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a solid background in enterprise storage sales and/or enterprise technology sales.
• Proven success in selling enterprise data storage solutions to large organizations and managing complex sales cycles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling complex infrastructure solutions within the Central Public Administration.
• Strong existing relationships within the assigned territory and a well-established professional network for generating new business opportunities.
• Documented track record of opening new accounts, acquiring new logos, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to effectively engage with executive leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Central Public Administration clients and relevant market dynamics.
• Capacity to qualify, develop, and close opportunities utilizing company resources, partners, and internal teams.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and customer relationship management.
• Preferred experience with EMC, HDS, IBM, HP, NetApp, or other well-established storage infrastructure vendors or business partners.
• Ability to drive customer satisfaction throughout the pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle.
• Proven success in leading competitive displacement campaigns and utilizing TCO analysis and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
• Experience working with channel and business partners to deliver solutions and services.
• Strong capability to influence stakeholders, drive decisions, prioritize opportunities, and achieve business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in Italy.
• Residency in Rome or neighboring areas is required.
