This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate account performance and create monthly reports detailing key KPIs along with recommendations on sell-through, forecasting, financial implications, competitive analysis, promotional effectiveness, and emerging trends.
• Partner with leadership to formulate, convey, and execute the U.S. strategic vision, objectives, and plans to achieve EBITDA and sales targets.
• Provide strategic, analytical, and e-commerce-driven insights using multiple data sources.
• Identify opportunities that support the e-commerce 18-month and 3- to 5-year strategies and plans.
• Spearhead the creation of e-commerce business performance scorecards that include actionable insights and ad hoc analyses.
• Set e-commerce KPIs for monthly reporting and data examination, which includes tracking competitive activities.
• Analyze vendor portals and third-party technology data for planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial impacts, and trend recognition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on WD-40 item configurations, item modifications, UPC updates, and product specifications.
• Offer data-driven decisions and evidence-based recommendations to the Amazon and pure play Sales Team.
• Communicate forecast accuracy, in-stock issues, chargeback violations, and ordering precision while suggesting corrective measures.
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales to estimate proposed new-item volumes and establish priority rankings.
• Monitor new product launches from initial purchase order to site activation, track sales, and provide forecasting recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in business, focusing on data analytics, marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in sales and marketing analytics within CPG or agency environments relevant to e-Retail/CPG.
• Experience with Amazon is highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of experience providing strategic thought leadership in e-commerce, effectively translating data concepts for relevant business stakeholders.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with substantial experience.
• Familiarity with syndicated point-of-sale and account-specific consumption data is required.
