This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate a sales strategy and pipeline to market professional services offered by Veregy and its subsidiaries.
• Meet or exceed an annual sales revenue target.
• Create and manage market strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analyses and establish vertical market and horizontal business development approaches.
• Generate a sales pipeline that meets or surpasses designated revenue goals each fiscal year.
• Evaluate specific clients and project opportunities while adapting to evolving market conditions.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively within the sales team to secure new project opportunities.
• Communicate client-centric messages regarding the client’s business, Veregy’s value proposition, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of planning, presentations, and sales deliverables.
• Utilize the Salesforce CRM platform and additional tools to monitor and document sales prospects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client from the initial sales phase through to project handoff as necessary.
• Assist customers with project, financing, and contracting concerns.
• Prepare presentations, accurate estimates, quality proposals, and fee estimates with support from technical and marketing teams.
• Participate in market organizations and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate business opportunities.
• Travel to engage with clients or potential clients and network through social events, dinners, and other activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in all duties and responsibilities associated with an account manager role.
• Established track record of achieving at least $10M in annual sales.
• Familiarity with facility systems, large project sales processes, and funding alternatives.
• Competence in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, contracts, proposals, and estimates.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate technical products.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the technical products being sold.
• Strong sales and customer service skills, along with proven negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven capability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
• Ability to effectively present information and address inquiries from clients.
• Knowledge and experience in the ESCO (Energy Services) sector.
• Experience in the educational market for K-12 & higher education as well as municipal projects.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and/or related software applications.
• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Willingness to undertake a significant amount of local travel (up to 50%) via car and some national travel by airplane.
