Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and enhance enduring relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinics.

• Identify avenues for expanding current customer partnerships and creating new business opportunities.

• Gain a deep understanding of customers' businesses and propose solutions that promote their success.

• Conduct regular business evaluations, customer visits, and strategic planning sessions.

• Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline utilizing CRM technology.

• Meet or surpass customer retention, revenue growth, and activity targets.

• Manage a designated geographic area with a significant level of independence.

• Travel to veterinary hospitals, client sites, conferences, and networking events.

• Play a role in Gateway's ongoing growth alongside the sales and operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of demonstrated success in account management, relationship management, or external B2B sales experience.

• Established capability to enhance existing customer relationships while discovering new business opportunities.

• Experience in managing a geographic sales territory.

• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems.

• Background in the veterinary, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries is advantageous.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% within the assigned territory.

• Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
