This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales approach to meet revenue and profitability objectives for the territory.
• Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities in the fields of industrial hygiene, environmental health, occupational safety, and EHS markets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with corporate EHS leaders, Certified Industrial Hygienists, safety experts, environmental consultants, engineering firms, and government entities.
• Promote laboratory services that address asbestos, silica, metals, mold, indoor air quality, USP, microbiology, legionella, drinking water, and monitoring of occupational exposure.
• Formulate sampling strategies and suggest analytical solutions that comply with OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, AIHA, ASTM, and state regulations.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and oversee contract management.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer engagement within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with laboratory operations, project management, customer service, and technical experts to ensure quality service and timely delivery.
• Represent the company at AIHA, ASSP, NSC, and various regional EHS conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscape to uncover opportunities and provide market insights.
• Propel revenue growth and broaden market presence across the Eastern United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent sales experience).
• 2-4+ years of experience in outside sales or account management.
• Solid understanding of industrial hygiene principles, environmental regulations, and laboratory analytical services.
• Preferred experience selling to EHS managers, industrial hygienists, environmental consultants, and industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, construction, or energy.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic accounts, negotiate contracts, and consistently surpass sales goals.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel across the Eastern U.S. approximately 40–60% of the time.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking capabilities.
• Existing connections within the EHS, Industrial Hygiene, or environmental consulting sectors are preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, AIHA, NIOSH, USP, and occupational exposure assessment is preferred.
• Experience in selling laboratory analytical services or technical environmental solutions is preferred.
