This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the business's measurement layer, encompassing ARR, net retention, expansion, churn, pipeline conversion, customer acquisition cost, gross margin, services margin, and cash flow.
• Collaborate across Salesforce and QuickBooks to create a cohesive and current overview of the company's performance.
• Develop and sustain the SaaS metrics infrastructure, including ARR waterfall, cohort retention analysis, revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue tracking, and unit economics by segment.
• Reconcile the bookings data from Salesforce with the revenue entries in QuickBooks.
• Guarantee a single source of truth between Salesforce and QuickBooks.
• Generate monthly and quarterly financial and revenue reports for leadership.
• Conduct variance analysis against the established plan.
• Model scenarios relating to pricing changes, product bundling, geographic expansion, and headcount investments.
• Oversee pipeline health and convert pipeline data into revenue forecasts with clearly documented assumptions.
• Ensure data integrity between the CRM and accounting systems and identify any discrepancies.
• Assist with board-level and investor-level reporting by providing clean and defensible metrics.
• Report directly to the CEO's operating rhythm.
• Offer analysis that informs hiring plans, product investments, and go-to-market strategies.
• Over three years of experience in SaaS financial analysis, revenue operations, or FP&A within a B2B software organization.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, including opportunity objects, product schedules, contract structures, and data-level reporting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, covering chart of accounts design, revenue categorization, journal entries, and reconciliation workflows.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, with the ability to apply them to a multi-product SaaS business featuring annual and multi-year contracts.
• Capability to construct financial models from scratch using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Understanding of cohort analysis.
• Knowledge of bookings, billings, and revenue, along with their implications.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking regarding personal figures, and a strong commitment to data integrity.
• Preferred: experience with subscription revenue and professional services.
• Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or native Salesforce quoting and contract objects.
• Preferred: exposure to investor or board reporting at a growth-stage firm.
• Preferred: experience with Marketo or HubSpot data for customer acquisition cost and attribution modeling.
