S/4HANA – Coupa Integration Architect, Indirect Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of global integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA, from the initial architecture phase through to cutover and hypercare.

• Create and manage APIs utilizing REST, JSON, and OData, focusing on schema design, error management, and performance enhancement.

• Set up and maintain Coupa integrations for supplier onboarding, master data synchronization, approval processes, tax handling, receiving, invoicing, and payment status updates.

• Design and execute SAP integration artifacts, including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALE interfaces.

• Convert intricate integration requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

• Integrate procurement and finance processes across the SAP S/4HANA Procurement, MM, and FI-AP modules.

• Develop and supervise integrations using SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.

• Establish integration security protocols utilizing OAuth2, mTLS, certificates, and key management practices.

• Track integration performance with observability tools and dashboards, incorporating alerting and traceability features.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines employing version control and automation tools.

• Coordinate dependencies, environments, and delivery timelines across various integration workstreams.

• Facilitate interface validation and test automation.

• Collaborate in Agile settings with upstream and downstream systems, such as MDG and ServiceNow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering complex global integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA in large organizational settings.

• Strong technical knowledge in API engineering, including REST, OData, OpenAPI or Swagger specifications, and testing with Postman.

• Extensive understanding of SAP S/4HANA Procurement, MM, and FI-AP processes, including vendors, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices, and financial structures.

• Demonstrated expertise with SAP integration artifacts such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALE.

• Comprehensive understanding of Coupa configuration relevant to integrations, encompassing master data, suppliers, and transactional flows.

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.

• In-depth knowledge of integration security protocols and data protection methodologies.

• Experience in implementing monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for integrations.

• Familiarity with CI and CD methodologies, version control, and automated deployment processes.

• Proven skill in managing large-scale integration delivery across multiple workstreams and environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.

• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams and external providers.

• Self-driven, resilient, and able to handle competing priorities while adhering to deadlines.

• Clearance required: BPSS.

• Must possess legal authorization to live and work in the country where the position is based without the need for employer sponsorship.
