Roofing Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments for potential repairs or replacements.

• Identify, locate, document, and provide guidance on deficiencies and issues related to roofing systems.

• Execute emergency repairs as necessary to meet customer requirements.

• Deliver detailed scopes of work for any additional repairs that may be needed.

• Install services and carry out approved repairs as requested.

• Collaborate and interact effectively with owners, customers, colleagues, managers, and inter-office teams.

• Adapt to dynamic environments and varying workplace conditions.

• Complete daily administrative tasks, including online service documents and timesheets.

• Travel to multiple locations as required.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in commercial roofing systems, including industrial and commercial single-ply membranes, EPDM, built-up roofing, modified bitumen, roof-related metals, and standing seam/metal panel roofing systems.

• Physically capable of managing all aspects of roofing repairs.

• Adhere to all OSHA and other industry standards regarding safety and compliance.

• Proficient computer skills are advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ideal candidates will have experience with single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, roof-related sheet metal, and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Personal tools for the trade are required.

• Preferred travel commitment of 25%.
