This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the requirements of a specified territory by delivering personal in-field technical assistance.
• Offer direct technical support to Authorized FiberTite Applicators, building owners, architects, roofing consultants, and FiberTite sales staff.
• Organize and plan work in alignment with Technical Services Guidelines.
• Coordinate and conduct travel to various job sites.
• Perform on-site visits during the installation process to ensure the correct application of FiberTite Roof Systems.
• Assist in addressing installation challenges and concerns.
• Educate FiberTite Applicators on the proper installation and use of FiberTite products and roofing systems.
• Carry out final inspections to confirm technical and warranty compliance.
• Investigate warranty claims and execute necessary FiberTite repairs as instructed.
• Provide technical support to local and regional FiberTite sales representatives.
• Adhere to company policies regarding expenses and vehicle use.
• Comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain weekly communication with the FiberTite Technical Services team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities, including travel and work beyond the designated territory.
• A high school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in roofing and/or roof inspections is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in WordPerfect, Excel, email, and Internet usage.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications, along with performing basic estimating.
• Fundamental knowledge of roofing, roofing materials, and roofing systems is essential.
• Basic understanding of roof leak detection methods and corrective repair strategies related to single-ply roofing systems.
• Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including report writing.
• Knowledge and experience with standard inspection procedures for single-ply roofing systems.
• Familiarity with building codes, including FM, UL, and Miami-Dade regulations.
• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with hot-air welding equipment for thermoplastic single-ply roofing applications.
• Skill in hand-welding construction details, including the application of flashing for corners and pipes.
• Capability to conduct hands-on application training for small groups.
• IIBEC Registered Roof Observer (RRO) certification is desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% of the time is required.
