
Robotic Clinical Specialist – Southern California

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Integrate the HUGO™ RAS-system within hospital settings.
• Assist in the expansion or establishment of robotic surgery programs and facilitate transitions from other platforms.
• Engage with robotic program stakeholders to establish program objectives and performance metrics.
• Conduct regular meetings to review program progress.
• Create training plans for surgeons.
• Organize participation in Medtronic off-site training and coordinate proctored surgical cases.
• Develop training programs for staff and provide support throughout their learning journey.
• Attend surgeries during training sessions for surgeons and staff to aid in technology integration.
• Implement change management strategies to involve clinical stakeholders and secure their commitment.
• Mentor hospital personnel to encourage skill transfer and operational independence.
• Collaborate with Medtronic field service engineers and hospital teams to prepare operating rooms.
• Monitor milestones that demonstrate the value delivered to pilot sites.
• Willingness to travel across the country, exceeding 75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical, sales, or equivalent experience OR an Advanced Degree with no prior related experience.
• Must be able to relocate to a primary implementation site.
• Openness to travel extensively within your country (>75%).
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Preferred: 12-18+ months of clinical sales experience in an operating room setting.
• Preferred: Knowledge and experience related to operating rooms and surgical procedures.
• Preferred: Proven capability to manage processes from idea generation and strategic planning to detailed execution and outcome delivery.
• Preferred: Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards.
• Preferred: Strong project management abilities.
• Preferred: Capacity to integrate a customer team and coach them towards ongoing performance improvement.
• Preferred: Background in change management and process enhancement.
• Preferred: Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and research skills.
• Preferred: Understanding of hospital workflows and complex healthcare scenarios.
• Preferred: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: Proven success in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
